How warranty coverage works
- Warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer, not a separate Pickup Access house warranty
- Coverage typically applies to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use
- Warranty terms can differ based on cover type, finish, and brand program
What is commonly covered
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware failure under normal use
- Latch, seal, hinge, or frame issues caused by defective parts
What is usually not covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation, or modification
- Cosmetic damage reported after the carrier claim window has passed
- Labor costs for removal or reinstallation unless the manufacturer states otherwise
How to start a warranty claim

- We review the claim details and coordinate next steps with the manufacturer or distributor
- If additional information is needed, we will contact you within 1 business day
What to have ready
- Order number
- Truck year, make, model, and bed length
- Photos of the product issue
- Photos of packaging damage if the issue happened during delivery
Shipping damage vs. warranty
If the product arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Shipping damage is handled through the carrier and is not treated as a standard warranty claim.
